Pictures of the fire J had in his kitchen yesterday! He called me while I was on the train on my way to uni.
The whole exhaust unit and the power point behind the over had completely melted! My brave fireman put it out with an extinguisher and everyone was okay, thankfully!
I don't think the oven was too much of a casualty, but they spent over a day cleaning up all the ash and burnt plastic.
Lesson learned: If you put something on the stove, make sure you don't leave it unattended!!!
