My Week in Pictures #76

The week began with acrobatics and ended with beautiful sunsets.
After trying my hand at partner-acro, I have a new-found respect for people who are actually good at it - it's seriously difficult.

I kicked off the weekend with a Mexican-themed night with B. We started at El Loco for frozen margaritas and delicious $6 tacos, before kicking on to Tio's in Surry Hills for more margaritas, very expensive tequila shots and delicious $6 Rio Brava.

Sunday kicked off with a brunch date with the beautiful Rai, and exploring Newtown. There is nothing better than catching up with friends over nutritious smoothies and delicious foods.

After bidding farewell to Rai, I met up again with B, for a much-needed coffee and some gelato from the always-fascinating N2.

Sunday night has mostly been spent relaxing preparing for the week ahead; a bit of blogging, planning, a quick clean of the house, colouring in and mindless TV.

My Week in Pictures #75

We spent Sunday celebrating J's birthday a bit early - grill'd burgers for lunch, escaped from a puzzle room at Para-Park (seriously so much fun - cannot recommend highly enough) and then finished up at Zanzibar's rooftop before retiring home.

How beautiful was Sydney this weekend? This weather is amazing! Bring on more Spring!

My Week in Pictures #45

I started off my week with a pole workshop with Evgeny Greshilov - an amazing Russian pole dancer with incredible strength. The workshop was heaps of fun and I learnt lots of new tricks to work on.

Rommy's been such a little cutie, with his newest toy...a large cardboard box. He's even taken to sleeping it, which is adorable.

Enjoying the last of my holiday break with a Shandy and some Assassin's Creed.

Uni goes back this week, so I'm trying to get a head start with my readings. A little Boston Legal playing in the background makes me less depressed that holidays are well and truly over.

One of the girls from work got an amazing job in the career she wants to go into, so sadly for us will no longer be working with us. We headed out to Darling Harbour for farewell drinks. A big jug of sangria is always a good way to celebrate. Darling Harbour was all done up for Mardi Gras. Did anyone attend the parade this year? Sadly I missed it!

I did however catch up with Adeline from Through Beauty Eyes at the pre-mardi gras catwalk show at the Australasian College Broadway, which was a lot of fun!

And probably, the biggest news of the week; I've been interning at a law firm since January as part of my degree, and on Monday I was offered a paid position! Which is just so incredible! I get to finish off my internship being paid, and then I get to stay on afterwards, continuing to get experience in an actual firm setting. I've loved working there so far, the people I work with are all so lovely and helpful, and I'm so happy I get to keep working there.

My Week in Pictures #36

Wore my hair curly...to J's surprise it wasn't for any special occassion, but merely because I had some extra time in the morning.
Rommy has taken sitting on our shoulders to a whole new level, and perched himself up on my arm. Cutie cat.

Dropped into L'occitane to pick up my dad a father's day gift...and to pick myself up one of their new serums.  I also decided to try the local bike track, on my way to my dad's place and was pleasantly surprised that it goes along parks and rivers. So peaceful!

FINALLY GOT THAT PENCIL DOWN MOTHERIUCKERS GUYS!
I have been working on this move for a solid 6 months. Probably longer. Nothing quite beats that rush of adrenaline of achieving something you've worked so hard on.
Check out my instagram for videos!

Oh Sydney, you have blessed us with beautiful weather the past week! Spring is OFFICIALLY here, and I am too keen. I took my studies outside in the backyard. Very pleased to report the tree that overhangs our yard is starting to get its leaves back. Winter is over, yo!

Nommed on a croissant while catching up with one of the girls at work who has practically left us *sob*
Also seriously lusting over these teacups in T2...just saying, if you feel like buying me one, go right ahead.

This one really needs no words.
